Q:
How do you define single "professional"?
A: We leave that up to the people registering. We do not ask
participants to bring their college transcripts or resumes when they
check in at our events :-)

Q:
What should I not talk about at an 8minuteDating event?
A: In order to create a safe, comfortable and enjoyable
evening for everyone, there are 3 subjects that you are not allowed
to discuss at any time during an 8minuteDating event.
- You are not allowed to ask
anyone for their contact information. This includes their phone
number, last name, e-mail address, business card, or their
address.
- You are not allowed to ask
anyone if they would like to have another date.
- You are not allowed to ask
sexually explicit questions, use lewd language, or say anything
that might be interpreted as threatening or as sexual harassment.
Please be polite and respectful!
If you meet someone who you would
like to go out with, you may inform them that you’ll be putting
their name on your 8minuteDating Card, but please don’t pressure
them to put your name on their card. If they are interested they
will put your name on their card. Remember, everyone at the event is
interested in meeting people to date. If you’re having an
8minuteDate with someone who you’re not interested in dating again,
take the opportunity to learn something from them. Just because
there’s no love interest, you might be surprised by how interesting
people can be if you ask the right questions! |
